Are stained glass window panes and/or bevels worthless?
I'm not sure what your question is? Are you trying to ask if the components to a stained glass window (like a broken window ?) are worthless or the entire window itself?
I'd say the components of a broken window aren't worth much but there are always people doing stained glass that would probably buy them.
I'd also ask around people who restore stained glass, sometimes certain shades or bevels aren't made anymore, also if the window was made buy someone important, even the bits and pieces might have value.

Beveled Glass
what is the name of the elliptical molding that surrounds the glass on a front door?
My elliptical shaped trim has come off my door that surrounds the beveled glass in the middle. Where can I find replacement trim for that
More than likely what you have is simple quarter-round molding. (I'm guessing the trim you're talking about is pin-nailed into the door and presses up against the glass in the middle of the door). Most DIY stores have a few simple moldings in pine or other common woods. Specialty lumber yards may have more styles (and types of wood) and often have patterns to mill custom moldings (this is pricey however). Also check local door companies; they may be able to help.
Your best bet is to take a piece of the old molding with you so that you get the best match of shape, size and wood type. You may have to stain the new molding and you'll definitely have to finish it (varnish etc.) after installing it.
